Dr Michael Cai, BDSc (Hons) WA MRACDS (GDP), is a well-regarded Sydney dentist who combines a keen eye for aesthetic detail with a commitment to attentive, considered dental care. His Sydney CBD practice brings together his experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and close attention to detail across a wide range of dental treatments.

Patients often comment on his meticulous approach and warm, friendly personality. He listens carefully to each patient’s concerns and needs and is attentive to individual circumstances.

Dr Cai is also committed to changing the experience of visiting the dentist, which is reflected in the design and approach of the practice. He works with visiting dental sedationists to offer twilight sedation for patients who experience dental anxiety.

Dr Cai and the practice have been featured in various media including Today Tonight, Sunrise, Cosmopolitan and Women’s Day. He serves as a key opinion leader, trialling dental materials for a number of dental companies. Dr Cai and his team have held Invisalign Platinum Elite Provider status since 2015.

Dr Michael Cai graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia and was awarded Honours for his academic and clinical achievements. He also has extensive experience working as a dental technician. He received numerous prizes and the ADRF and Delta Sigma Delta research scholarships for his research work. He also completed the Master Clinician program in Implant Dentistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, and the GIDE institute.
