Dr Kim and the team at Pitt Street Dental Centre look after Sydney CBD patients across every stage of their Invisalign journey. Our patient Ana is a great example. She started Invisalign around four months ago to tidy up some crowding and improve her overall smile, and her treatment is tracking nicely. At today’s appointment with Dr Kim, we reviewed her movement against the original plan and issued her next set of aligners.
What Happens At An Invisalign Review
Review appointments are quick, structured visits designed to keep your treatment efficient and predictable. Most patients are in and out within twenty to thirty minutes.
Tracking Against The Plan
Dr Kim compares your teeth to your digital treatment plan to confirm everything is moving as expected. This step is what allows us to spot small issues early and adjust if needed, rather than discovering them later in treatment.
Adjustments If Required
If a tooth is moving more slowly than planned, small adjustments can be made on the day. This might include refining an attachment, adding a refinement stage later in treatment, or making minor changes to the aligner sequence.
Next Set Of Aligners
When everything is tracking well, you are issued your next set of aligners, usually around six trays at a time. Ana received six new aligners today and will return in six weeks for her next review.
Why Patients Choose Invisalign
Clear aligners are removable, discreet, and easy to live with. You can eat what you like, brush and floss as normal, and continue with work and social plans throughout treatment. It is a popular choice for Sydney professionals who want a straighter smile without the look of fixed orthodontic braces.
