What Is the Cost of All-Teeth-On-Implant?
Hi, I’m Dr Michael Cai, the principal dentist of Pitt St Dental Centre here in Sydney CBD.
This morning I was chatting with Patrick from Walse Bay, who is exploring the All-On-Four treatment to replace his dentures. During our conversation, the topic of price came up. There were a few things I mentioned that he wasn’t aware of before. So I thought I’d make a video sharing with you what I shared with him, just in case you are also thinking about replacing your teeth with All-on-four.
The cost of a full-arch teeth replacement starts from twenty thousands, and can go up to forty k per arch.
Here are some things to consider that can impact the price.
First of all is the status the supporting structure for the dental implants. If somebody comes in with healthy jaw bone and gum tissue with no extractions are required. The cost will be lower because it’s easier and quicker just to place the implants and give them the prosthesis.
Now, if somebody comes in with a lot of gum and bony pathology, requiring multiple teeth removal, cleaning of the infection, bone graft and additional surgery, et cetera, then it will be on the upper end of the price point.
The other thing that reflects the cost depends on the material you choose. Essentially, there are two types of material for your replacement teeth. One is made out of composite resin. The modern composite resin can do look very natural and nice, they are easy to repair or replace, but they do wear out quicker and they are not beautiful as porcelain teeth.
Porcelain teeth are much stronger, they look better, they feel more like natural teeth, they’re nice and glossy and smooth, and there’s less chance of wear and requires less maintenance.
Porcelain teeth are more expensive, whereas composite teeth are more cost effective.
Lastly, what differenciates us from other practices is here at Pitt St Dental Centre, we use a full digital workflow. We design your smile using digital smile design, allowing us to visualise your smile because the procedure. This also means there is no nasty impressions done inside your mouth. Everything is done by intra oral scanners at the time of your implant surgery.
And because we’re able to do that, we are able to give you your permanent teeth that’s fixated on the implant usually within 24 to 48 hours after your procedure. So you’re never left without teeth for more than two days. The teeth are made by the best dental technicians in the country, ensuring the perfect fit, comfort and aesthetics.
